POUSADA

Prior to construction commencing in 2007, the land consisted simply of sand, coconut trees and the original house of the fisherman who owned the land. Many years of hard work and continued hard work have resulted in the beautiful rooms and garden we now proudly call Casa Zulu. The Pousada consists of 8 rooms, a swimming pool, restaurant and a lush green garden situated in the centre of the village while still having direct beach access. With the kite clubs just a 5 minute walk down the beach and the windsurfing centre a 5 minute walk up the beach, our location could not be more ideal.

The rooms at Casa Zulu have been designed to offer maximum comfortable, whether you’re staying short-term or long-term. Each of the rooms have been tasteful decorated by Joëlle, incorporating local items with modern twists. Set within our tropical garden, surrounding the swimming pool, each room offers it’s own veranda complete with a hammock, The intimate environment we’ve created over the years genuinely leaves our guests with a feeling that they’ve found a home away from home! We have all the necessary for baby too, from the cot to the bath!

Our restaurant has an incredible view of the beach and ocean, creating the perfect setting for starting or finishing the day with the calming sounds of the ocean and the invigorating sea breeze. Casa Zulu’s kitchen is international, combining Western and Brazilian food. Breakfast is served daily with a generous selection of tropical fruits, breads and other breakfast staples. Home made cakes, pancakes, crepes and jams add that feeling of home. We are open for lunch daily and are fast becoming famous for our delicious, twice weekly fish barbecue. For this special occasion, we open grill two types of the freshest available fish which is served with a nutritious buffet of salads and side dishes. Reservations are required for the barbecue nights, Wednesday and Sunday!
